My mission
Mobile app that immerses you in the world of healthy lifestyle
About the client
Anastasia Mironova is a well-known blogger and healthy lifestyle expert. Her audience includes over 1.5 million followers interested in transforming their bodies, habits, and mindset. Before launching the app, Anastasia sold courses through social media and messengers but aimed to take the project to the next level: create a full-fledged online school in a mobile app format.
Task
Create a mobile app that would become the foundation of Anastasia Mironova's online school. The product needed to combine workouts, nutrition, and communications in one interface, be convenient for daily use, and easily scalable. Main goals: increase audience engagement, centralize content management, and boost monetization through proprietary digital channels.
Client's problems
Fragmented communication and content delivery channels hindered project growth
Courses, instructions, and support were distributed across different platforms (social media, messengers, email), causing audiences to quickly lose engagement. This reduced course completion rates, limited customer lifetime value (LTV), and hindered building a loyal community around the brand.
Lack of a technical platform hindered product scaling and development
At the start of collaboration, the project consisted of disconnected solutions without unified architecture or management system. Any improvements (new course, price changes, launching promotions) required manual work and developer involvement, slowing hypothesis testing and restraining growth.
Inability to build sustainable monetization through external sales channels
Sales went through social networks, making the project dependent on third-party algorithms and worsening funnel control. Lack of built-in payments, subscriptions, and internal analytics hindered marketing optimization, lost some orders, and finances didn't scale with audience growth.
Absence of a digital ecosystem reduced trust and competitiveness
In the growing market of online courses and healthy lifestyle apps, the project needed technological enhancement. Users increasingly chose products with built-in workout programs, nutrition, recommendations, and progress tracking. Without a digital platform, the brand lost market position and audience loyalty.
Challenges
we faced
The product was at the idea stage—no technical specifications, platform, or structure. We needed to determine which features were critical for the first version, which could be postponed, and how to implement them with minimal costs. This increased time for analytics and required close collaboration with the client.
Anastasia's audience are active content consumers but not mobile solution users. The app needed to be extremely simple, understandable, and adapted to daily routines. Deep study of target audience habits and needs was required to avoid user churn at launch.
Conducted comprehensive analytics and market research
At the first stage, we formed the product strategy together with the client: conducted interviews with subscribers, studied competitors in the healthy lifestyle app niche, identified user scenarios. This allowed determining MVP composition, monetization points, and requirements for design, content, and infrastructure.
Developed MVP with key functionality and laid foundation for scaling
Within tight deadlines, created a mobile app with personalized courses, workout plans, nutrition system, progress tracking, articles, and built-in chats with curators. All functions were designed with future growth in mind: modular architecture allowed product scaling without complete overhaul.
Implemented integrations and gamification mechanics to improve user experience
Added in-app course purchases, integrated with diet system and Fatsecret, implemented gaming and motivational mechanics (competitions, rankings, progress charts), which increased engagement and LTV.
Created powerful admin panel for client's team
Developed convenient admin panel for managing courses, nutrition, users, and statistics. The admin panel allowed flexible content editing, campaign launches, effectiveness tracking, and audience interaction management without developer involvement.
Provided technical support and evolutionary product development
After release, the team collected user feedback and implemented improvements based on it: interface redesign, navigation optimization, adding new courses.
Result
Developed scalable iOS and Android app — 65,000 installations in the first week and entry into TOP App Store and Google Play in "Sports" category.
Implemented personalized recommendations, tracking system, and challenges — increased engagement and program completion rates.
Automated payments and content delivery — reduced team workload and eliminated course access errors.
Created flexible admin panel with user management, content, and analytics — launching new programs takes hours instead of days.
Ensured stable platform performance with traffic and load growth — project successfully develops for 4 years without architecture changes.
