About the client

Blaze is an online store of materials for beauty professionals. Their catalog includes over 8000 products for manicure, pedicure, and lash styling.

Thanks to our collaboration, Blaze grew into something more. A platform gathering everything beauty professionals need: consumables, online client booking, and coworking space rentals.

Task

Create a mobile app for online booking and client automation with a built-in marketplace for beauty professionals.

Often, professionals manage appointments in phone notes or small slips that frequently get lost. A convenient tool was needed for scheduling and renting out coworking space spots.

Solution

To properly implement client search functionality, the client suggested first populating the app with professionals and attracting them. Then connect search and booking tools for potential clients. This was logical since launching the app for clients immediately would have faced a shortage of professionals.

As a result, we developed a mobile app on Flutter for iOS and Android, first fully packaging it for beauty professionals, then implementing tools for those seeking professionals and booking cosmetic services.

Personalized online schedule

During platform registration, a professional can fully populate their profile: showcase work examples, list social media, and specify their address on the map. This helps clients quickly choose a suitable professional.

Professionals manage all appointments in an online calendar, eliminating the chance of forgetting about a procedure or accidentally double-booking. A day before the appointment, clients automatically receive a WhatsApp reminder and request to confirm.

The schedule is customizable. For example, block days or times when unavailable to accept clients or set automatic breaks between appointments. Personal events can also be added: from doctor visits to reminders for utility meter readings.

Convenient professional search for clients

Clients can easily find professionals by service type, name, or address. Filters enable quick search, for example by price range. We also integrated Yandex Maps to find nearby professionals.

When choosing a professional, clients immediately see available time slots and select convenient times.

Professional beauty products marketplace

One of the platform's main advantages is consumables for any cosmetic procedures at low prices. We integrated the beauty marketplace within the app where orders can be placed with delivery and paid online.

To automatically update product stock in the app, we created three-way integration with the online store, CRM, and "My Warehouse" service. Data synchronized and entered the app: there wasn't a single case where someone placed an order for an out-of-stock item.

Renting and leasing coworking spaces

Beauty coworkings are popular among professionals. It's cost-effective: instead of renting an entire salon, a fully equipped workspace can be rented only for hours when clients are booked.

The client and we wanted the app to fully cover all professional needs. Therefore, we implemented a section for renting or leasing coworking spaces. Providers simply need to fill in coworking information, while those wanting to rent can book and pay.
